I am not one to ask for favors, but I will now. I need your help!
As you likely have heard, I am running for Chairman of the Henrico
County Republican Committee (HCRC). I announced a few weeks ago and have been
reaching out to Republican activists and elected officials since then. So far, the
support that I have received has been overwhelming.
In the days and weeks to come I will be sharing with you and
others the broad spectrum of support and endorsements I am receiving. To get

I am running to be a
Chairman who unites Henrico Republicans. I have a plan to grow the
Committee’s membership, increase resources for activities, and ensure the
Committee is functioning year-round—not just for a limited time around elections.
Most importantly, I want to be a Committee Chairman who helps lead our
Republican nominees at every level to victory!
I have the experience
to turn this vision into a reality. I joined the HCRC in the ‘90s, and have
done almost every grassroots job there is. I have been a Precinct Captain, a
poll watcher, a poll worker, a door knocker, a telephone caller, an envelope
stuffer, and everything in between. I was first elected to the HCRC Executive
Committee in 2006, serving in various positions including Vice Chairman for
Precinct Organization and Parliamentarian. I also led a sub-committee to review
and update the bylaws.
This election is very important. The process to elect a new
HCRC Chairman will be a Mass Meeting held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 7:00PM
in the Deep Run High School auditorium at 4801 Twin Hickory Road in Glen Allen.
I need for you to attend
the Mass Meeting. Only those who are present at the Mass Meeting will be
allowed to vote for Chairman.
The Mass Meeting runs similar to how the recent Iowa
Caucuses were run.
- Registration starts at 5:30 p.m., but you must be in line to register no later than 7:00 p.m.
- Any registered voter who lives in Henrico County may vote in the Mass Meeting—you simply come and provide proof of registration and residency, so do not forget your government issued photo ID.
- I will have volunteers to greet you at the Mass Meeting and to assist you through the process.
- I will also have to have food, drink and fellowship in abundance! Just come register at 5:30 p.m., put on a Whitlock for Chairman sticker, and join me for dinner before the Mass Meeting and the vote.
If you can attend the
Mass Meeting, please respond to this email and let me know. It is important
that we know how many people to expect for dinner before the meeting and to
know how many people we can expect to attend the Meeting overall.
